I was given the opportunity to review Thermal-Aid which I absolutely LOVE! I've long been looking for a cooling pad that works for more than like 10 minutes and doesn't feel like an ice cube is sitting on me (we have a few of the rice bags but they don't last too long in my opinion.) We tend to need more cooling pads than heating pads but after a long day and since I've started to exercise more now, I've been using mine for my legs at the end of the day.
Thermal-Aid is 100% Natural. The Heating and Cooling packs are made from 100% cotton and the inside is specially engineered corn. Thermal-aid provides relief for symptoms such as ~ arthritis, back pain, muscle soreness, menstrual cramps, neck pain, carpal tunnel, headaches and migraines, sprains/strains, sunburn, fever, stomach aches, the flu, bug bites, lactation, multiple sclerosis and growing pains.
There are several different heating/cooling pads that are available and range in price from $19.95 for a the Tube or Small up to $36.95 for a Large. The bears are from Thermal-aid kids! With 5 different colors to choose from (Lavender, Blue, Yellow, Green or Pink) they are $19.95 each. Unlike the pads (which are hand wash only), the bears are washable!

We used our bear a few days after we got him. My daughter came home with a fever and likes having something cool on her head. I had put the bear in the freezer the day before because I wanted to see for myself how long he stayed cold compared to the rice bag that we kept in there already. She slept for at least 2 hours after school and she said the bear still felt cooler on her head. I honestly wish that I would have known about Thermal-aid when my daughter was younger. I can think back to so many times (and probably many more to come lol) when she needed a heating/cooling pack and didn't have anything on hand that she "liked" or felt comfortable keeping on. With the bear she loves how he helps her feel better from any bumps and aches and things she has.

I went to thermal-aid.com and saw that they have cooling/heating pads for pets - I've never seen that before! My mom's 11 year old Pekinese could benefit from putting that on her front leg. She has a permanent limp from an injury she received when she was younger.

Oh, the Buckley Bear is adorable too. I really like that the heating element is corn since I have had gel packs leak and they just do not last.

Having a lot of pain in my joints I think this would be quite comforting. Being able to make it cool or warm is good to know. The Buckley Bear would be wonderful and the fact that it can be washed is an added plus.

I learned that it could help my migraines which would be awesome. I also have toothaches and have been using a rice sock to apply heat to my jaw. Good for growing pains for my boys too.
