Barbie Potty Training Taffy Review

Having a pet is a big responsibility! You need to care for them and kids don't always seem to realize all of the caring that goes into a pet. Barbie knows though! We were recently sent the Barbie Potty Training Taffy to review!

Barbie and her dog Taffy come with her dog bones, doggy dish, leash, storage box, pooper scooper, trash can and droppings. While Taffy is running around the Dreamhouse, hitting up her doggy dish she runs up to Barbie because she needs to go outside! So Barbie grabs her scooper and out the door they go.

After Taffy has done her business, Barbies knows it's important to keep it picked up! So she can grab the poo with her scooper and dispose of it in her trash can.

I love how Taffy has her own personality and you can pretend with her. You can push down on her head and her ears go up, eyes close and she opens her mouth and is ready for a treat! And she'll really eat the bone (it is removed when you open up the side of the pack she is wearing.)

And she'll really do her business too. You simply load up the droppings into the other side of the pack and push down on her tail for her to do her thing.

I think that this is an awesome way to help your little ones get ready for a new pet inside of the home. Everyone knows about the snuggles, kisses and ooohhh they are so cute but kids don't always realize all the responsibilities that go into caring for a pet.

  1. Hm. I'm not sure about Taffy there, but I suppose it could be helpful in teaching little ones something. We take our gang to the local shelter to volunteer and learn about pet care. Not everyone has that option, though. And, hey, Taffy is at least cute and entertaining. Thanks for the review! <3
