Bunny Bait #TastyTuesday

The Easter Bunny is putting finishing touches on those Easter Baskets because soon he'll be hopping around hiding all sorts of goodies! Why not entice him and make sure he'll show up? We made some Bunny Bait and it was a huge hit with the girls!

If you are looking for a quick spring snack for school, Girl Scout Meetings, a little treat for your neighbors or maybe after your Easter get together with the family this is something to check out!

From start to finish I believe we had everything done and started taste testing about 20 minutes later!

What you'll need:

  • Popcorn (we used the kernals so there wasn't any butter or anything already on it)
  • Pretzels
  • White Chocolate or White Chocolate Chips
  • Sprinkles
  • M&Ms
  • Rice Chex
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Wax Paper/Foil Covered Cookie Sheet

1. Pop your popcorn so that it's ready to go and break down your pretzels into smaller pieces if you prefer and add into your mixing bowl with the rice chex. We didn't measure anything out but poured until we thought an even combination of the popcorn, chex mix and pretzels were inside of our large mixing bowl.
2. Start melting your chocolate in 30 second intervals stirring until smooth. I could only find white chocolate chips and I melted it down and added a little milk to my mixture as I went.
3. In a large bowl where your popcorn, rice chex, and pretzels are, pour over your chocolate mixture and mix it up.
4. We then spooned everything onto a cookie sheet that was covered in wax paper and poured some Easter M&M's and sprinkles into the mixture. DO NOT mix after you add these in as you will cover them in your white chocolate!
5. After it cools you can break it apart and package it up into individual baggies or just let them eat!
