The Wet Brush Review & Giveaway

I participated in this event on behalf of Wendy's Bloggers for The Wet Brush. I received Wet Brush products to facilitate my review.

My daughter is blessed to have the same hair like her mama. Brown with natural red highlights and THICK! Already into my 30's, I thought I figured out the best way to comb and style it. I believe I was wrong. I was always using the wide tooth combs (like for 15 years!) because nothing else worked to get through my hair when it was wet. There was no way my daughter would let me go near her with a comb and we found a brush that didn't stop the hair brush crying, but it definitely made it easier. And then The Wet Brush entered into our lives.

The Wet Brush - the healthy detangling hairbrush - is the best selling hairbrush in the U.S.!  With its famous “IntelliFlex bristles,” it’s a product that has set a milestone in haircare. The bristles’ flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling. They are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp. The tips of the bristles even massage the scalp to circulate blood flow! It’s no mystery why Moms and kids can’t live without their Wet Brush. It’s available in most beauty stores and salons in the U.S. and more than 45 countries.

There is a Wet Brush for all of your hair needs. The paddle brush is best for staying in the bathroom or dresser or as a backup to the classic brush. Heading to the pool or beach for the day or maybe looking for a brush to leave in the car? The squirt is perfect for that! And what happens when you aren't at home and need to check out your do? Keep the pop brush (with mirror) in your purse so you'll never be without a brush. There can also be a Wet Brush for every member of the family! It comes in a variety of colors to help know whose brush is whose.

I used The Wet Brush on my hair before I brought it out for my daughter. The one thing I had to get used to was the fact that the bristles are very flexible and when I brush my hair it feels as though I need to press down a lot harder to get the brush through my hair. But it does work through hair very nicely. I instantly fell in love with the paddle brush. I had even attempted to use one of my combs after several uses of The Wet Brushes and about stabbed my head and it hurt to pull on all that hair. So after it made a believer out of me, I pulled out the purple set for my daughter (because you have to give the kids the better color right?? lol) She still has the occasional "ow" when brushing her hair but it definitely works through her hair so much better and she is in love with her squirt brush because it goes into her bag with her.

  1. I would love to win this for my daughter and me. We both have long hair, and hers gets tangled easily, and she hates her hair being brushed. Like you, I've been using a wide tooth comb for ages (must be our generation, I'm also in my 30s,) ;) and I buy lots of brushes for her, trying to find the right one. I use the wide tooth comb on her hair when it's wet so as to prevent breakage and splitting. I would love to try these for us! Thanks for the great giveaway!
