  1. I heard using oatmeal can kill ants the natural way.

  2. Not sure if it went through. My grandmother used to use lemon with a scored peel in hot water overnight ( in order to release the natural oils held in the peel). In the morning she would use it to bathe the dogs. She also did this for the carpets. Cedar was used around her house a lot to help repel other pests as well.
