Prize Candle Review

I am all for a good mystery! That's why when Tastemaker Moms wanted to know if I would do a review of Prize Candles I couldn't turn that down! If you haven't heard of Prize Candles before it's a candle that has a little something special included inside!

How does it work? You pick out a candle of your choice. They currently have 16 different scents for you to choose from and all are $24.99 each. Once your candle arrives you can start burning it. After a few hours you'll be able to see the top of the package where your prize is. The fast way to get it out? Dump out the wax once it melts down a little bit. Or you can keep yourself in suspense until you can fully see the package. Either way make sure your candle is out when you are grabbing for your prize so you don't burn yourself! Then open it up and enjoy!

There are a few things that Prize Candle does that I really like. The first is the packaging. It was wrapped in a plastic little case that I had to pop open before I could reach the page it was wrapped in. Second they have codes for appraisal. No more having to run to the jeweler to find out you have a $10 ring! My ring said Made In China on the package so it's a play ring for us.
The only thing that I was not very fond of was that I wish I could have picked out my scent. I had the Jasmine Neroli scent. Not being a fan of floral types of scents I wasn't able to enjoy having the candle lit.

And I still believe that once one of these companies starts to track the sizes of the rings that are in the candles I'm all in. It would be very nice to know that I can at least wear the ring that is coming inside of my candle each and every time I place an order. Someday I hope! Until then I'm still a buyer. These are always my Christmas gifts and Birthday gifts to myself because I like the surprise factor in them!

**I received a Prize Candle in return for this post. However I do only write about things that I believe are a good fit for my blog and readers. All opinions expressed in this thread are purely my own and do not reflect those of anyone else.**

  1. I LOVE prize candles. They have the best scents and, of course, they have a prize too! That is about as good as it gets!! :)
