Beethoven's Treasure Tail Review

The original Beethoven, you know the big dog who caused a lot of trouble until he saved the family, can you believe that came out in 1992? Even though I still feel like that was just 10 years ago I realize that I was only 10 when it came out LOL I love being able to share some of my childhood favorites with my daughter now! We were recently sent the new Beethoven's Treasure Tail on Blu-Ray to review!

"Get ready to howl with laughter in this all-new family comedy starring America's favorite St. Bernard, the one and only Beethoven! After a doggone disaster of a movie shoot, the big-hearted pooch and his trainer, Eddie (Jonathan Silverman, Beethoven's Big Break), are heading home when they get stranded in a small coastal village. When Beethoven befriends a local boy (Bretton Manley, Ted), he helps him find a pirate map to lost treasure and together they em-bark on an adventure that brings the whole town together. Co-starring Morgan Fairchild (Flamingo Road), Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), it's a heartwarming "tail" about finding fun wherever your nose leads you."

Just like the other Beethoven movies, Beethoven's Treasure Tail is a family friendly movie that everyone will love! Teaching lessons about doing what is right and standing up for what you believe in - huge lessons I have been working on with my daughter this past year. I love how they also show how hurtful bullying can be - something that all kids and even some adults can always use a reminder on. And of course it wouldn't be a Beethoven movie without all of the funny problems and situations that they run into along the way of finding the treasure!

The movie is rated PG for some of the humor and action scenes but I think most parents are ok with their little ones watching Beethoven's Treasure Tail again and again! We found it on Amazon for $12.96! Would make a good stocking stuffer!
**I received a copy of Beethoven's Treasure Tail on Blu-Ray to aid in this review. All opinions expressed are purely my own and do not reflect those of anyone else.**

Leah Shumack is the voice behind Clair's Freebies. Born and raised in ski country Western NY where I still live today with my beautiful 8 year old daughter. When I'm not tending to her or out scoping deals I enjoy entering giveaways and trying out new things in the kitchen!

  1. I can't believe they are still making Beethoven movies! I used to love watching these when I was little and I love that they are making younger generations laugh and experience the fun and mischief that Beethoven creates. Thanks for sharing! My nephews would love this :)
