Nutter Butter Flip Flops

I was up searching Pinterest the other night because my daughter had to take a snack to Girl Scouts and I had forgotten! Because we can only take store baked things to school I like to get creative with other snack days. So quick and easy was on the agenda of course with a summer theme.

I can across these Nutter Butter Flip Flops and couldn't resist. They were so simple to do and I was able to get two packages done in about 15 minutes!

What you'll need:
Nutter Butter Bars
Cake Icing
Sprinkles or Small Candies

I used a small tube of Betty Crocker Gel Icing in green, blue and pink. 2 packages of Nutter Butters (32 bars a package) so that I could create a pair of sandals for each of the 30 scouts.

Using the icing place a dot (where the star sprinkle is on the picture) and then finish off the flip flop lines. They don't have to be perfect and mine varied from small to larger lines.

Add your candy or sprinkle star and you're done!

I seen some other pictures where they used mini M&Ms or Reese's Pieces on top. Or using Twizzler Pull Apart Strings for the flip flop lines. The possibilities are endless!

These were definitely a hit with the kids and the adults! If you are looking for a quick summer treat this would be a great option!

  1. I’d have to check with you here. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!
