S'mores Dip Recipe

Who says you need to go camping to enjoy S'mores? I love love love this recipe. It's so quick and easy and you get to enjoy the taste of roasted marshmallows without a fire! If you have 10 minutes and S'more ingredients you are good to go!

First you'll need a skillet or cast iron pan. We used an 8-inch skillet. You'll also need a bag of chocolate chips. We used Milk Chocolate, but it's really your preference here (some use the peanut butter chips for an extra kick too!). And a bag of marshmallows. We used the mini marshmallows. If you are using big ones you may want to cut them in half so they don't puff up really big on you. And of course graham crackers for later!

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

If you want to you can do a pat of butter with your chocolate chips over low heat to get your chocolate started. Cooking spray is optional as well. I used a non stick pan and had no problems with the dip sticking to the bottom.

Add chocolate chips evenly across the bottom of the pan. Place marshmallows evenly across the top. Don't forget to cut bigger marshmallows in half before you use them! Even our minis doubled in size when we baked it!

Once oven is pre-heated place entire skillet onto the center rack. Let bake for 8 minutes or until marshmallows are toasted at your desired color!

While you are waiting for it to bake start getting your graham cracker dippers onto a plate.

Remove from the oven (don't forget the oven mitt...that handle will be HOT!) let sit for 5 minutes and enjoy!
Rules? No double dipping of course! And we left the oven mitt over the handle because it remained hot for awhile after we took it out of the oven.

You'll get the same great S'mores taste in about 15 minutes! So quick and easy for dessert and the kids (of all ages!) love it!
