Teddy Bear Beach Cups

My friend had shared a picture of these cute little beach cups before the Mario party and we had wanted to figure out a way to incorporate them because we thought the kids would love them. So we tied it in with Mario Teddy. I had always thought he turned into a raccoon rather than a teddy but the right image had come up when I searched it!

It had seemed like we had a lot of little snacky things on the menu for the party but because the party was right around lunch we definitely wanted a little more food that wasn't candy. Anyways onto the cup!

What you'll need:

Vanilla Pudding
Blue Food Coloring
Nilla Wafers
Teddy Grahams
Air Heads Xtreme Sour Belts
Clear Cups
Drink Umbrellas

1. Make the Vanilla Pudding according to the package directions (we used the larger box of pudding). And use the food coloring to your desired ocean water color. We used the McCormick Neon Food Coloring to create ours. Set aside for a few minutes.

2. Crush up the entire box of Nilla Wafers inside of a ziploc bag. You want them to resemble sand after it's all crushed up.

3. Add the now blue pudding to the bottom of the cups. We filled each of them about a quarter of the way (4 generous spoonfuls). Add about a half of inch layer of the Nilla Wafers to the top of the pudding. Once all filled add your Air Head Belt while becomes the teddy's beach towel. Add on a Teddy Graham or two to relax and an umbrella and you're all set!

We were able to create about 15 Teddy Vacation cups with the larger pudding box and box of crushed Nilla Wafers. And of course the kids loved it! It doesn't have to be a Mario theme but we added it as Mario Teddy Vacation Cups because we wanted something else on the menu that was a little more "food" like and not something just candy candy candy. Even if you are looking for a cute summer snack this would be great for the menu!
