Holiday Gift Guide ~ Make: Paper Inventions & Giveaway

I got really excited having the opportunity to review the new book Make: Paper Inventions because I love to try my hand at new crafting techniques! There are so many cool things that you can create using only paper!

"Paper is incredible stuff. It's easy to cut, but incredibly strong. It's disposable, but can last for centuries. It can stand as still as a board, pop up like a spring, or float like a leaf. And its invention changed the world forever."

This book is full of step by step instructions and templates for you to create many new paper projects! Whether you are young or old, experienced or new there is something for you to try your hand at!

Make: Paper Inventions will help you create projects like:

DIY flavored edible paper and ink
Self-folding paper models
Light-up paper projects
Paper sensors and switches
Paper windmill and paper machines
3D designs with paper
Origami and other fold and cut designs
and more!

I'm a paper inventor newbie so I started off creating the Fold and One Cut Star. It took a few minutes following the instructions and sure enough I had created a star!

I can remember being in my teens and seeing some gum wrapper chain bracelets and wondering how they were made! I can't wait to save up a bunch of them so I can create one because the step by step instructions are included in the book! My daughter is looking forward to doing some of the rice paper for the secret writing!

And we have one copy to give away to a lucky Clair's Freebies fan! To enter for your chance to win simply use the Rafflecopter below! The giveaway begins now and ends on December 30th at 11:59 pm eastern time. The winner must have a US mailing address and be 18 years or older!
